John Enos

Tissue Donor

My husband and I were enjoying a regular morning together when John died from cardiac arrest in our kitchen. He was only 54 and I'm not yet 50. The next several hours seemed like a bad dream that I could not awaken from. When the phone rang that evening requesting donation approval, I finally felt as if something positive could come from his death.

John enjoyed helping others and lived his life doing so, it seemed somehow fitting that he could continue doing so after his death. The shock of sudden death is difficult, but there is a feeling of comfort knowing he could offer this one last precious gift.
